.- Authorizing the vacating and closing of the alley
located in Block Fifteen (15) of the Cartwright Terrace
Addition to the City of Beaumont, Texas. .
WHEREAS, a petition duly signed by J. R. Currie, J.
W . Heartf ie ld, Robt : C or ley, T . M, Haom6ns . A- L. Leonard,
Edna Siemann, and M. L. Stafford, and M. C. Roberts, owners
of Block 15'of the Oartwright Terrace Addition to the City
of Beaumont, has been- presented to the City Commission of
the City -of -Beaumont requesting that such alley be closed
and vacated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISS ION OF THE CITY OF
' BEAUMONT:
That the alley located in kock Fifteen (15) of the
Cartwright Terrace Addition to the City of Beaumont be,
and the same is, hereby authorized to be vacated and -
closed., and that the title to such alley shall revert to
and become the property of the respective owners of the
land in said block bordering on said alley, as provided
by law; provided, - however, that -the closing of this
alley shall in no -way affect the -rights of the* City as to
planing -and maintaining therein of any sewer or water lines,
or any other service - or utility of -the City, - der owners of
property in said block, all of which rights are hereby re-
served.

property owners abutting on the alley in Block 1.5 of the
Cartwright lierrace Addition to the City of Beaumont,

the alley in said block.

I hereby join in the above petition conditioned that the City
in releasing its right to -said alley expressly provide In its.order

so that each lot in said block shall instead of having depthof 140 feet
have a depth back from street to TiiiMle of alley off. 150. ft. and that
City shall reserve right to T)ut In Said gas,water

all abutting property owners have signed this petition.
