AN ORDINANCE_
AUTHORIZING THE -VACATING AND CLOSING OF THE ALLEY LOCATED
IN BLOCK THIRTY-SEV2N (37 ): OF THE CART10-IRIGHT AD!.;ITION TO THE
CITY OF BEAUPr O- T, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, a petition duly signed by M. Oldham, he being
the sole owner of said Block, has been pres.ented to the City
Commission o-f the- City of Beaumont, requesting that such
alley be closed and vacated..
N0I`I1 THERrFO_FE, BE IT DRDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF TIC CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the alley located in Block Thirty-seven (37)
of the Cartwright Addition to the City of Beaumont, be
and the same is hereby, authorized to be vacated and closed,
and that the title to such alley shall revert toand be --
come the property of the said M. Oldham, owner of all land
in said block bordering on said alley, as provided by law;
provided, however, that the closing of this alley shall in
no way affect the . rights of the City as to placing and na-in-
taining therein of any sewer or water lines, or any other
service or utility of the City, or.owner of property in said
block, all of which rights are hereby reserved.
Passed this; the I4th day of A.D. 1928.
