AUTHORIZING THE VACATING AND CLOSING OF T:dE AIRY LOCATED
.IN BLOCK FGJR (4) OF THE LANGHAM ADDITION TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONT.
VdHEREAS, a petition duly signed by L. Singleton, he being
the sole owner of said Block, has been presented to the City
Commission_ of the City of Beaumont,'requesting that such alley
be closed and vacated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED Bt THE CITY CONITISa ON
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Thht the alley located in Block Four (4) of the Langham
Addition to the City of Beaumont, Texas, be, and.the same is
hereby, authorized to be vacated and closed, and that the title
to such alley shall revert to and become the property of the
said L. Singleton, owner of all land in said Block bordering
on said alley, as provided by law.
Passed this, the_14th-day of gyp, A.D. 1928.

The undersigned, L. Singleton, a
resident of Orange County, Texas, hereby respectfully
represents that he is the owner of the entire Block
No. Four (4) in the Langham Addition t.o the City. of
Beaumont, and that there is not other person who owns
an interest in said property; that there are only four
lots in said blocks, and that said block is entirely
vacant without structures of any kind; that the:be is
a public alley in said block running East and West,
from Gray Street, to Land Street.; This alley is un-
desirable and is not needed in said block; if same
were closed it would make the property in said block
more desirable to build upon.
Wherefore, your petition prays that
said alley be vacated and closed.
