Authorizing "the vacating -and -c-losing of the alley located
in Block Thirteen (13) of the W.-W. Chais•on Addition, to the -City
of Beaumont.
WHEREAS, a petition duly signed by J. E. Barrow, -Mack
Osbee, R. C. Barfield, Charles Johnson; Coy W: Carr, T. M. Hunter;
owners of Block Thirteen, (130 of the W.W. Chaison Addition to.the
City of Beaumont, has been presented to the City Commission of the
City of Beaumont requesting that such•alley be closed -and vacated.-
NOVT , THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COm[jISSI'
OF THE .. CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That the alley located in Block Mirt€�e* (13)- of the
W. V'T. Chaison ,Addition to the City of Beaumont be, -and-the same is,
hereby authorized -to be vacated and closed, and that the title to
such , alley shall revert, to and become the - property of the -respect-ive
owners of the'land in said blocki-bordering on said alley, as pro-
vided by law; provided, however, that the closing of- this alley
:shall in"" no way affect the rights of the City as to placing and
maintaining therein of any sewer or waterlines, or any other
service or utility of the City; or owner of property in said
block#,, all of which rights are hereby reserved.

land in said :Block adjacent to and abutting on such alley, it being
understood, ihoiiever, that the closing of this Alley shall in no way
affect the, rights of the City as to placing and maintaining therein
any sewer or water lines or any other service..or utility of the City
or owners of property in said Block.

in Block bound by Washington Boulevard, Polk Street, -Tyrrell
Street, and Avenue "A", in the C-ity"of Beaumont, Texas. —
'WHEREAS., a petition duly signed by H. J. Pierson, H. A. Dosdmey,
N. Ros_heger,- R. F. Swanzy, Ni. J. Condon, B. D. Carney, J. H. M cKill,
C. A. McBee, Fred Knaulton, T. J. Voorhies," L. B. Clark, and S. F.
Lowe, owners of the block bounded by Washington Boulevard, Polk
Street, Terrell Street, and Avenue "A", has been presented to the -
City Commission -of -the City -of Beaumont requesting that such alley
be closed and vacated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
C014 IUSSION -OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:

of Beaumont be, and the same is hereby, authorized -to be vacated
