OF ALL_ ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORD_ INANCES -IN-_
CONSISTENT OR CONTRARY- THERETO .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT
That Article 71-18 of the Code of The City of Beaumont
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows*
Section 1.
Article 71-18. Amount of fees - Before any permit is
granted for the installation or alteration of'electric wiring,
devices or equipment, the person making application for such
permit shall pay to the City a fee in such amount as specified
below*
Where there- . is_ a group of meters -supplied
from one service, first meter...............3.00

For each additional outlet ................... m15
For installation of lighting fixtures &

be considered separately in figuring the fees.

Section.2.
Separability and Savings Clause; If any section, 'sub
-
section, sentence, claus.e,-phrase,. or portion of this ordinance
is for any reason held invalid or uncon=stitutional. -by any court
of -competent jurisdiction, such sections sub -section, sentence,
clause, phrase or portion shall be deemed a separate,'distinct
and independent provisionF and such holdings shall not affect .the, -
validity or constitutionality of the remaining portion thereof.
Section 3. =
The ordinance passed by_ the City Commission of -The City
of Beaumont on the 26th day of November, 1946, amending Article
71-18 of.the Code of The City of Beaumont, -is hereby expressly
repealed, and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances inconr.�--
§ stent or contrary hereto are hereby expressly repealed.
