PROVIDING. FOR' THE. REPEAL- OF. ALL. ORDINANCES OR
PARTS OF ORDINANCES INC ONSISTENT-' OR CONTRARY
THERETO.
BE IT. ORDAINED" BY- THE- CITY OF .BEAUMONT;
That Article .72-7 (c) of the . C ode of The City of Beaumont,
be and the same, is•hereby amended to read as.follows;

Section '2. .
Separability and Savings Clause; If any section, sub-

section, sentence, clause, phrase, or portion of this ordinance
is for -any reason held invalid or unconstitutional by any court
of competent -jurisdiction, such section, sub -section, sentence,
clause, phrase or portion,shall be deemed a separate, distinct and
independent provision and such holdings shall -not affect the valid-
ity or constitutionality of the remaining portion thereof.
Section 3.
The ordinance passed by _ the City of Beaumont on the 26th
day of November, 1946., ' amending Article 72-7 (c) . of the Code of
The City of Beaumont, is hereby expressly repealed, and all other
ordinances or partscof ordinances inconsistent or contrary hereto
are.hereby expressly repealed.
