AN ORDINANCE
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING.AND ABANDONING
A.TEN.(10) FOOT WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT IN BLOCK
ONE (1) OF OAK CLIFF ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT,, JEFFERSON COUNTY,, TEXAS. FULLY DE-
SCRIBED HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT,, TEXAS.:
That the following described Ten (10.) foot wide utility easement
in Block 1 of Oak Cliff Addition to The City of Beaumont,, Jeffer-
son County,, Texas,, to wit:
The ten (10)foot wide utility easement in.and
along and adjacent to the West lines of Lots One
(1) and Sixteen (1.6) of Block One (1),, Oak Cliff
Addition to The City of Beaumont,, Texas,, the
west line of said easement being the west line
of said lots;
be., and the same is. hereby,, vacated and -abandoned' and that title
to, such property shall revert to and become the property of the
persons entitled thereto as provided by law;, provided,, however,, that
the vacating and abandoning of said, easement shall not be construed
as abandoning and shall in no -way affect the five (5) foot wide
sewer easement along and adjacent to the south line of said Lot
Sixteen (16) granted by Billie L. McLendon,, et ux,, to The City of
Beaumont and recorded in Jefferson County Deed Records' Volume
953, Page 638.

Gentlemen:
At the regular session of the Planning and Zoning Commission on
November 5, 1962, the Planning and Zoning Commission, with six (6) members
present, voted unanimously in favor of vacating and abandoning subject.easement
as follows:
The ten (10) foot wide utility easement in and .along and adjacent
to the West lines of Lots one (1) and Sixteen (16)" of Block
One (1), Oak Cliff Addition to the City of"Beaumont, Texas,
the west line of said easement.being the west line of said lots;
provided., however, that the vacating and abandoning of said easement shall not
be construed as abandoning and shall in.no way affect the five (5) foot wide
sewer easement along and adjacent to.the south line of said Lot Sixteen (16).
