AUTHORIZING THE PROPER OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER A GENERAL WARRANTY
DEED TO C. T. GARTH.,, JR., CONVEYING 15,320 SQUARE
FEET OF LAND IN THE NOAH TEVIS SURVEY' IN THE CITY
OF BEAUMONT% JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, MORE PARTI-
CULARLY DESCRIBED HEREINo
BE IT ORDAINED.BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS. -
That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute and
deliver for and on behalf of The City of Beaumont a General War-
ranty Deed conveying to-C. T. Garth, Jr. the following described
tract or parcel of land, to wit:
BEING a portion of that certain tract or parcel of
land in the Noah Tevis Survey, Beaumont, Jefferson
County,. Texas, located along and adjacent to the
west right. -.of. -way line of Eleventh Street as now
established and along and adjacent to the north
right..of•»way line of Hollywood Avenue as now estab-
lished and being a part of Lot 18 of the Van Wormer
Industrial Sites Subdivision, plat of which i-s re-
corded in Volume 5, Page 76, Map Records of Jeffer-
son County, Texas, and being the westerly portion
of that certain tract or parcel of land conveyed by
Alvin Siteman to. The City of Beaumont, Texas, as
recorded in Volume 1262;.Page 531, Deed Records of
Jefferson County, Texas, and being more particularly
described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the north line of Hollywood
Avenue., said point being the southwest corner of
that certain tract_ or parcel of land mentioned above
conveyed by Alvin Siteman to.The City of Beaumont,
said point also being the southeast corner of a tract
or parcel of land owned by Terminal Oil Company;
THENCE along the north line of'Hollywood Avenue fifty"
three and nine tenths (53.9) feet eastwardly along the
are of a 02 degree 26 minute curve tothe right (chord.
of said curve bearing North 88 degrees 48 minutes East,
53.9 feet) to concrete monument at the point of tan-
gency of said curve;
THENCE.tangent to said curve and continuing along the
north line of Hollywood Avenue, North 89 degrees 27
minutes East thirty-six and seven tenths (36.7) feet
to corner in the west line of Eleventh Street as now
established;
THENCE along the west line of Eleventh Street as.now
established North fifty (50) feet to corner;
THENCE continuing along the west line -of -Eleventh
Street as now established North 03 degrees 50 minutes
30 seconds.West one hundred twenty five and five
tenths (125.5) feet to corner in the north line of
that certain tract conveyed by Alvin Siteman to The
City of Beaumont, said point also being in the south

THENCE along the north line of above mentioned
tract conveyed by Alvin Siteman to The City of
Beaumont or along the south line of said tract or
parcel of land owned by Mrs. Inez B. Holland
South 89 degrees 39 minutes West eighty. -one and
six tenths (.81.6) feet to, a corner in the east
line of a tract of land owned by Terminal Oil Com-
pany., said point being the northwest corner of
that certain.tract or parcel of land conveyed by
Alvin Siteman.to the City of Beaumont;
THENCE along the west line of that certain tract
or parcel of land conveyed by Alvin Siteman to
The.City of Beaumont or the east line of the tract
or parcel of land owned by Terminal Oil Company
South 000 degree 14.minutes West one hundred
seventy --six and three tenths (176.3) feet to the
place of beginning;
The above described tract of land contains 15,320
square feet, more or less;
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said instru-
ment and to affix the seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
