ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PROPER
OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT TO EXECUTE AND
DELIVER FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT
A QUITCLAIM DEED CONVEYING ALL OF THE CITY?S
RIGHT, TITLE AND INTEREST IN AND TO ALL OF THAT
RIGHT OF WAY OF THE MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD
COMPANY ADJACENT TO AND ABUTTING LOTS 5 AND 8 IN
BLOCK 28 OF THE JARRETT ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, TO JOHN P.
HOWELL AND CHARLES A. HOWELL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That Jack M. Moore, Mayor, be, and he is..hereby,authorizied to
execute and deliver for and on behalf of The City of Beaumont a
quitclaim deed to John P. Howell and Charles A. Howell, convey-
ing all of the City's right, title and interest in and to the
hereinafter described property:
All of that right of. way of the Missouri Pacific
Railroad Company (Beaumont, Sour Lake & Western
Railroad Company) adjacent to and abutting Lots
5.and 8, in -'Block 28 of the Jarrett Addition to
The City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, as
the same appears on the map or plat of said addi-
tion on file in the office of the County Clerk of
Jefferson County, Texas;
and the City Clerk i5 hereby authorized to attest to said instru-
ment and to affix the seal of The,;City of Beaumont thereto.
