ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PROPER OFFI-
CIALS OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER
A QUITCLAIM DEED TO C. W. CONN', SR., CONVEYING ALL
OF THE CITYtS RIGHT, TITLE, AND INTEREST IN AND TO
A 1.407 ACRE TRACT OF LAND IN THE A. WILLIAMS SURVEY,
BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED HEREIN; AND AUTHORIZING THE PROPER OFFICIALS
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER A
SPECIAL WARRANTY DEED TO C. W. CONN, SR., CONVEYING
A 0.148 ACRE TRACT OF LAND IN THE.A. WILLIAMS SURVEY,
BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS,:
1.
That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
and deliver for and on behalf of the City of Beaumont a quitclaim
deed to C. W. Conn, Sr., conveying all of the Cityts right, title,
and interest in and to the hereinafter described property:
Beginning at a ltt rod which marka the intersection
of the west line of the Alfaro Tract and the south
right.-of�way line of the relocated S.& E.T. RR,
Southern Pacific, in the A. Williams Survey just
west of Pecan Street and just south of Dollinger
Road, Beaumont, Texas, said relocated railroad
right of way being described in deed recorded in
Volume 778, Page 138, from C.,Alfaro to City of
Beaumont;
THENCE in a northwesterly direction along the arc
of a curve 437.56 feet to a pipe for corner in the
railroad borrow ditch, said pipe being located 601
east, from and at right angles to the west line of
loth Street, said railroad curve having a degree of
curvature of 3 degrees and zero minutes;
THENCE. south 41 degrees 13 minutes east 601 east of
and parallel to the west line of loth Street a dis-
tance of 8,76.50 feet to a pipe for corner at the
northwest corner of the Port Realty Co. tract;
THENCE north 77 degrees 50 minutes 30 seconds east
across the abandoned railroad right of way and the
north line of the Port Realty Co. tract a distance
of 99.53 feet to a pipe for corner in the east line
of the abandoned right of way;
THENCE north 41 degrees 13 minutes west along the
east line of the abandoned right of way a distance
of 491.40 feet to.a point for corner at the south-
west corner of the original Alfaro Tract;
THENCE north 1 degree 54 minutes west along the west
line of the Alfaro Tract a distance of 7.30 feet to
the place.of beginning,containing in area 1.407 acres
of land, more or less;
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said instrument
and to affix the seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.

That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
and deliver for and on behalf of The City of Beaumont a special war-
ranty deed conveying to C. W. Conn, Sr. the following described
propebty:
BEGINNING at a ltt rod which marks the intersection
of the west line of the Alfaro Tract and the south
right"of-.way line of .the relocated S.& E.T. RR,
Southern Pacific, in the A. Williams Survey just
west of Pecan Street and just south of Dollinger
Road, Beaumont, Texas, said. relocated railroad right
of way being described in deed recorded in Volume
778, Page 138, from C. Alfaro to City of Beaumont;
THENCE south 1 degree 54 minutes east along the west
line of the Alfaro Tract a distance of 7.30 feet to
a point for corner in the northeast line of the aban-
doned S..& R.T. RR right of way and the southwest cor-
ner of the original Alfaro Tract;
THENCE South 41 degrees 13 minutes east along the
northeast line.of the abandoned railroad right of way
a distance of 205.32 feet to a point for corner in
the west line of Pecan Street and the southeast corner
of the Alfaro Tract;
THENCE north 1 degree 54 minutes west along the west
line of Pecan Street a distance of 91.74 feet to an
iron rod for corner in the southwest line of the re-
located railroad right of way;
THENCE in a northwesterly direction along the arc of
a curve along the right-of-way line of the relocated
right of way a distance of 151.1 feet.to the place of
beginning, containing in area 0.148 of an acre of land,
more or less, said railroad right"of.-way curve having
a degree of curvature of 3 degrees and zero minutes;
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said instrument
and to affix the seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
