ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING.AND ABANDONING
THAT PORTION OF STAGG DRIVE EXTENDING FROM THE
WEST LINE OF INTERSTATE.HIGHWAY 10 AS NOW ESTAB-
LISHED WESTWARD TO THE EAST LINE OF THAT CERTAIN
200.-FOOT WIDE RIGHT OF WAY FOR HILLEBRANDT BAYOU
IN THE COLLEGE ACRES ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, MORE FULLY
DESCRIBED'HEREIN.
WHEREAS, a petition has been presented to the City Council
of The City of Beaumont by the owners of all of the property abut-
ting the following described property, to wits
Being that certain sixty (60) foot wide right of
way known as Stagg Drive extending from the West
line of Interstate Highway 10,as now established
westward to the east line of that certain two
hundred (200) foot wide right of way for ,Hille--
brandt Bayou. The south line of the above porgy
tion of Stagg,:Drive being the north lines of Lots
or Blocks.143, 142, 141, 1405 139,'138, and the
western portion.of 137, all in the College Acres
.Addition, out of the David Brown League, Beaumont.,
Jefferson County, Texas;
requesting that said portion -of Stagg Drive be vacated and abandoned;
and,
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council that it is to the
best interest of The City of Beaumont and benefit to the.public that
the above described portion of Stagg Drive be vacated and abandoned;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT, TEXAS
That the, portion. of Stagg Drive above described be, and the same is
hereby, authorized to be vacated and abandoned, and that title to
said vacated and abandoned portion of Stagg Drive shall revert to
and become the property of the parties entitled thereto, as provided
by law.
