AN ORDINANCE
AUTHORIZING THE PROPER OFFICIALS OF THR CITY
OF BEAUMONT..TO EXECUTE A GENERAL.WARRANTY
DEED TO MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY,
CONVEYING EIGHT PARCELS OF LAND IN THE VAN
WORMER SECOND ADDITION TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONT,
JEFFERSON C.OUNTY,'TEXAS, MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS HEREIN.
BRIT ORDAINED -.BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS-.
That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute and de-
liver for and on behalf of The City of Beaumont a general warranty
deed to Missouri Pacific Railroad Company., conveying to Missouri
Pacific Railroad Company the following parcels of land:
1. A tract or parcel of land situated in the Van
Wormer 2nd Addition to the City of Beaumont,
Jefferson County, Texas; more particularly de-
scribed as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 7, in
Block 14 of the Van.'. Wormer 2nd Addition to -The
City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas;
Thence southwa.rdly along the west line of South
Twelfth Street, extended, l'7; 72 feet, more or
less,, to the north right -of. -way line of the T&NQ
Railroad Company for corner;
Thence in a.westwardly direction along the north
right.-of"way line of_ the T&NO Railroad 141.1
feet, more or less, to stake for corner;
Thence northwardly and parallel to -South Twelfth
Street 41 feet, more -or less, to the southwest
corner of Lot 7 in Block 14 of the Van Wormer
Second Addition for corner;
Thence eastwardly 140 feet, more or less, to the
place of beginning.
2_. A tract or parcel of land situated in Lot 7 of
Block 14 of the Van Wormer 2nd Addition to the
City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the south line
of said Lot 7 and the east line of said Block 14;
Thence westwardly, along said south lot line 95.3

Thence northeastwardly,-on a curve to the left
having a radius of 438.52 feet and at an angle of

of said Lot 7 and, the West lime of said Block 13;
Thence. southwardly, along said west block line,
83.5 feet;
Thence northea:stwa.rdly, -on a, curve.to the left
having a radius -of .488.52:feet and at an angle
of 470 427 measured in the northeast quadrant;
between the last described course and the tangent
to the curve at this point, 110.0 feet, more or
less, to a point in the said north l.ot. line;
Thence westwardly, along said lot line, 72.0 feet,
more or less, to the. point of beginning. Con"

From the intersection of the south lime of said
Lot 8 and the westline of said Block 13 measure
eastwardly, along the said south lot line, 9.6
feet for the point of beginning; -
Thence eestwardly, continuing al-ong last described
course., 62.4 feet;
Thence northeastwardly, on a. curve to the left
having a radius of 488.52 feet and at an angle of
55034t, measured in the northeast quadrant, between,
the last described -course and the tangent to the
curve at this point, 58.2-feet, more or less, to
a point in the north lot line of said Lot 8;
Thence westwardly, along the said north lot line,

Thence northeastwardly, on a curve to the left hav-
ing a. radius of 488.52 feet and at an angle of 670

last described course and the tangent to the curve

in the east line of said lot;
Thence northwardly, along said east lot line, 9.8

and the. City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said instrument
and to -affix the seal. of The City of Beaumont thereto.
