AUTH-ORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT TO
EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED TO MISSOURI PACIFIC
RAILROAD, COMPANY, QUITCLAIMING ALL OF THE CITYt.S
INTEREST IN AND TO THE TEXAS. AND. NEW ORLEANS
RAILROAD COMPANYtS RIGHT OF WAY ABUTTING TWO
TRACTS OF LAND IN THE CHARLES WILLIAMS AND A.
WILLIAMS LEAGUES.IN THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, JEFFER--
SON COUNTY, TEXAS, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
BY METES AND BOUNDS HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS,:
That the Mayor be, .and he is hereby, authorized to execute and de-
liver for and on behalf of The City of Beaumont a .quitclaim deed to
Missouri Pacific Railroad Company, quitclaiming to the said Missouri
Pacific Railroad Company all of the Cityts right, title, interest,
claim and demand in and to the Texas. and New Orleans Railroad Com-
pany's right of way abutting the following described tracts on the
south
1. All that certain 1.025 acre tract of land out of
the south end of Lots Nos. One (1) and Two (2)
in Block E of the T. H. Langham Estate Subdivision
in the Charles Williams League, Jefferson County,
Texas, and being more fully bounded and described
as follows:
BEGIN at the.Southeast corner of Lot No. One (1)
in Block E of the T. H. Langham Estate Subdivision
at the point where.the East line of said Lot No.
One (1) and the North line of the T&NO RR Co. right
of way intersect, said point also being; on the west
line of Langham Road;
THENCE in a general Westerly direction along the
North line of the T&NO RR Co. right of way 643.17
feet, more or less, to the Southwest corner of
Lot No. Two (2) in Block E of the T. H. Langham
Estate Subdivision for corner and the Southwest
corner of this tract;
THENCE North 0 degrees 17 minutes West along the
West line of a 40 feet wide drainage easement
80.6 feet to point for corner;
THENCE North 82 degre.es 14 minutes East 514.43
feet, 80 feet from and parallel to the North line
of T&NO RR Co. right of way and along the most
Westerly South line of a 2.61 acre tract hereto-
fore conveyed to. Gaston Moncla, to a point for
corner;
THENCE South 7 degrees 46 minutes East 40 feet
along the. most Easterly West line of the above
referred to 2.61 acre tract to point for corner;
THENCE North 82 degrees 14 minutes. East 122.35
feet along the most Easterly South line of said
2.61 acre tract to a point in the West line of
Langham Road for corner;
THENCE South 1 degree 48 minutes East along the
West line of Langham Road to the place of begins.

or less.
2. Being a portion of Lots. Nos. 3, 4, 5 and 6, in
Block "Ett of the_ T . H . Langham Subdivision out of
the Charles Williams and A. Williams Leagues, in
-Jefferson County, Texas, as said Subdivision is
shown in Vol. 4, Page 86 of the Map Records of
Jefferson County, Texas, the portion thereof con-
veyed hereby being described by metes and bounds
as follows.:
BEGINNING at the southwest corner of L,ot 6, in
Block "Ell of said T. H. Langham Subdivision, same.
being the north line of the T.& N.O. Railroad
Company right of way;
Thence north 81 deg. 25_min. east along the south
line of Lots 6, 5, 4 and 3 and along the north
line of T. & N;O. Railroad Company right of way, a
distance of 1199..83 feet to the southeast corner
of Lot 3 of said T. H. Langham Subdivision.;
Thence north along the east line of Lot 3, a
distance of 40.30 feet to a. point for corner;
Thence south 81 deg. 25 min. west along a line
40 feet from and parallel to the south .line of
Lots 3, 4, 5 and 6 a distance of 1199.83 feet
to a point for corner in the west line of said
Lot 6;
Thence -south along the.west line of said -Lot 6
a distance of 40.30 feet to the southwest -corner
of Lot 6 and the place of beginning, containing
1.109 acres of land;
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said instrument
and to -affix the seal of The. City of Beaumont thereto -
