AN ORDINANCE

ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING THAT
CERTAIN 50-FOOT ROAD RIGHT OF WAY, FULLY DESCRIBED
HEREIN, LOCATED ACROSS LOTS 4 AND 5, BLOCK 6 OF
CALDWOOD ACRES ADDITION TO THE. CITY OF BEAUMONT,
JEFFERSON.COUNTY, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, a petition signed by all of the owners.of the prop-
erty abutting that certain roadway described below has been presented
to the City Council of The City of Beaumont, requesting that such
road be vacated and abandoned; and,
WHEREAS, said petition has been referred to the Planning and
Zoning Commission of The City of Beaumont for study and approval, and
the same has been approved by said Commission; and,
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council that it is to the
best interest of The City of Beaumont and benefit to the public that
that certain roadway described below be vacated and abandoned;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT .ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That that certain roadway described as follows:
Being that certain 50.-foot road right of way across
Lots 4 and 5, Block 6 of, Caldwood Acres Addition
shown on map of said Addition recorded in Volume 5,
Page 170 of the Map Records of Jefferson County,
Texas,
be, and the same is hereby, vacated and abandoned, and that title to
such roadway shall revert to and become the property of those persons
entitled thereto as provided by law;
