AN ORDINANCE
AUTHORIZING THE PROPER OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT TO EXECUTE.AN EASEMENT TO MISSOURI PACIFIC
RAILROAD COMPANY TO CONSTRUCT, MAINTAIN AND .OPERATE,
A RAILROAD UPON A TRACT OF LAND OUT -OF THE NOAH
TEVIS SURVEY ADJOINING LOT 7 IN BLOCK 15 OF THE VAN
WORMER SECOND. ADDITION TO THE CITY OF BEAUMONTEFN
FERSON.COUNTY, TEXAS., AS DESCRIBED HEREIN , .J

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That the Mayor be, and he, is hereby, authorized to execute and dew..
liver for and on behalf of The City of Beaumont an easement to
Missouri Pacific. Railroad Company, conveying to the said Missouri
Pacific Railroad Company all of the Cityls interest in -and to a
tract of land out of the Noah Tevis Survey adjoining,Lot No.. Seven
(7) in ,Block No. Fifteen (15) of the Van.Wormer Second Addition to
The City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, as follows:
BEGINNING at the southeast corner`of Lot No. Seven.
(7) in.Block No. Fifteen (15) of the Van Wormer
Second Addition to The City of Beaumont, Jefferson
County, Texas;
THENCE south along the west line of Thirteenth Street
extended 69 feet., more.or less., to the north right-of-
way line of the T&NO Railroad Company;
THENCE in a westerly directi-on along the north right-
of-way line of the T&NO Railroad. Company a distance
of 1.41.1 feet, more or less, to stake for corner;
THENCE north and parallel to Thirteenth Street extended
86.7 feet, more or less, to the -southwest corner of
Lot No. Seven (.7) in Block No. Fifteen.(15) of the Van
Wormer Second Addition;
THENCE eastalong the south line of Lot No. Seven (7)
in Block No. Fifteen (15) of the Van Wormer Second Ad»
ditioa 140 feet, more or less, to the place of beginning;
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said instrument
and to affix the seal of The City of Beaumont thereto.
