HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 13-DDC�c �_D � f AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A 5-FOOT WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT ALONG AND 2.5 FEET ON EACH SIDE OF THE COMMON LOT LINES OF LOTS 5 AND 6, BLOCK 4, OAKHILL TERRACE ADDITION, AND A 5-FOOT WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT ALONG AND 2.5 FEET ON EACH SIDE OF THE COMMON LOT LINES OF LOTS 9 AND 10, BLOCK 4, OAKHILL TERRACE ADDITION, IN THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS: That two (2) five-foot wide utility easements described as follows: 1. A five (5) foot wide utility easement along and two and five tenths (2.5) feet on each side of the common lot line of Lots 5 and 6 of Block 4 of Oakhill Terrace Addition, and 2. A five (5) foot wide utility easement along and two and five tenths (2.5) feet on each side of the common lot line of Lots 9 and 10 of Block 4 of Oakhill Terrace Addition, in The City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, vacated and abandoned, and that title to such property shall revert to and become the property of the persons entitled thereto, as provided by law; and The.City of Beaumont hereby relin- quishes any and all right, title and interest it had or.might have had in and to such utility easements. We do not have any distribution in these easements nor do we contemplate placing any there unless the City of Beaumont wishes to install street lights at these locations. We will offer no objection to these two abandonments.
