APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "ANNUAL APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE91r
ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE ENSUING FISCAL YEAR.BEGINNING
JULY 11 1960 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1961, IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT; APPORTIONING
THE FUNDS OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT; REPEALING ALL ORDI-
NANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
WHEREAS, the City Manager of The City of Beaumont has sub-
mitted to the City Council a budget estimate of the revenues of said
City and the expenses of conducting the affairs thereof for the ensu.
ing fiscal year, beginning July 1, 1960 and ending June 30, 1961; and
which said estimate has been compiled from detailed information ob-
tained from the several departments, divisions and offices of the
City, containing all of the information as required by the Charter of
The City of Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has received said City Manager's
estimate and is of the opinion that the same should be approved and
adopted as required by the Charter of The City of Beaumont;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT,
TEXAS:
Section 1.
That the budget estimate of the revenues of The City of Beau-
mont and the expanses of conducting the affairs thereof for the ensu-
ing fiscal year, beginning July 1, 1960 and ending June 30, 1961, as
submitted to the City Council by the City Manager of said City, be,
and the same is, in all things adopted and approved as the budget es-
timate of all of the current expenses as well as the fixed charges
against said City for the fiscal year beginning the lst day of July,
1960 and ending the 30th day of June, 1961.
Section 2..
That there is hereby appropriated out of the General Fund the
sum of $5,331,590.00 for the following purposes:

Section 3.
That there is hereby appropriated out of the following funds

accruing interest and redeeming the serial bonds as they mature, to

Section 6.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
