AN ORDINANCE
ENTITLED AN -ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PROPER OFFI-
CIALS OF THE CITY.OF BEAUMONT TO EXECUTE AND ➢ELIVER
FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT A DEED
CONVEYING A TRACT OF LAND OUT OF TRACT C OF THE VAN
WORMER, ET AL, ACREAGE TRACT IN THE NOAH TEVIS SURVEY
IN BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, TO KEL HUDSON
AND WIFE, VIOLA HUDSON.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE :CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS:
That Mayor Jimmie P. Cokinos be, and he is hereby authorized to exe-
cute and deliver for and on behalf of The City of Beaumont a deed
to Kel Hudson and wife, Viola Hudson, conveying all of the Cityfs
right, title and interest in and to the hereinafter described prop-
erty:
BEING a tract or parcel of land out of Tract C of
the Van Wormer, et al, acreage tract in the Noah
Tevis Survey, located along and adjacent to the south
line of Lot 8, Block 14, VanWormer Second Addition
and along and adjacent to the east line of 13th Street
in -the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, and
being all of that tract or parcel of land as conveyed
to The City of Beaumont' by Raymond H. Maddux and E. L.
Saba by deed recorded in Volume 1109, Wage 250, Deed
Records, Jefferson County, Texas, SAVE AND EXCEPT that
small triangular shaped tract out of the southeast
.corner to be acquired by the Missouri Pacific Railroad,
the parcel to be conveyed herein being more fully
described as follows:
BEGINNING at a 122t galvanized pipe which marks the
southwest corner of Lot 8, Block 14, Van Wormer Second
Addition, said pipe also being on the south line -of
the said addition and the northwest corner of the tract
herein described.; in the east right-of-way line of 13th
Street;
THENCE North 89 degrees 27 minutes East along the south
line of said Lot 8 and the south line of the Van Wormer
Second Addition a distance of 140.0 feet to a.1211 gal-
vanized pipe for corner in the west line of a 20-foot
wide alley, said pipe also being the southeast corner
of said Lot 8;
THENCE South Zero degrees 33 minutes East along the
west line of an alley a distance of 29.6 feet to a 12ts
galvanized pipe for corner, said pipe also being in the
north right -of --way line of the Missouri Pacific Rail.

right-of-way line of said spur track a distance of 90.2
feet to a 12tr galvanized pipe for corner in the south
line of Tract C and the north right -of -.way line of the

THENCE South 82 degrees 09 minutes West along the
south line of said Tract C and the north line of the
Southern Pacific right of way a distance of 53.5 feet
to a 111 galvanized pipe for corner in the east right-

of-way line of 13th Street and the southwest corner of
Tract C;
THENCE North Zero degrees 33 minutes West along the
east right -of -.way line of 13th Street a distance of
60.4 feet to the place of -beginning;
and theCity Clerk is hereby authorized to attest to said instrument
and to affix the seal of The City of Beaumont^ thereto.
