OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
ON JUNK 7, 19 5 5, BY CHANGING_ FRONT "R - 3", MODIFIED TWO
FAMILY AND MULTIPLE DWtLLING DISTRICT, TO "I-I'llLIGHT
INDITSTRIAL DISTRICT, THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF THE
FOLLOvIING PROPERTY, TO WIT:. THAT PORTION OF BLOCK 37
OF THE CARTWRIGHT AND ROBERTS SUBDIVISION "A" OF THE
D. BROWN SURVEY, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, LYING BETICEN
THE WEST LINE OF THE PRESENT HILLEBRANDT BAYOU, TTHE
WESTERLY LINE OF PROPOSED INTERSTATE HIGHTATAY 10, AND
THE EASTERLY LINE OF.THE PROPOSED RELOCATION OF HILLE-
BRANDT BAYOU
111HEREAS, the City Planning and'Zoning Commission of The City
of Beaumont, in compliance with the Charter and State laws with refer-
ence to the zoning ordinance regulations and zoning map, have given
requisite notices by publication and otherwise, and.after holding due
hearing and affording a full and fair hearing to all of the property
owners generally, and the persons interested, situated in the affected
area and in the vicinity thereof, the City Council of The City of
Beaumont is of the opinion that the zoning change should be made as
set forth herein;
N0Y, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT,
TEXAS:
Section 1.
That the "Zoning Ordinance" enacted by the City Council of The
City of Beaumont on the 7th day of June, 1955, be, and the same is
hereby, amended insofar as the property hereinafter described, and
shall hereafter be zoned and have an area classification as hereinafter
set forth; and shall be subject to the provisions of. said ordinance
generally, and the zoning map be, and it is hereby,,amended and cor-
rected so that the property hereinafter described shall be zoned as
provided below:
Being that portion of Block 37 of the Cartwright &
Roberts Subdivision "A" of the D. Brown Survey, Jef-
ferson County, Texas, lying between the west line of
the present Hillebrandt Bayou, the westerly line of
proposed Interstate Highway_101 and the easterly line
of the proposed relocation of Hillebrandt Bayou as
reflected'by right-of-way map of Relocati:on.of Hille-
brandt Bayou, dated April, 1958, with revisions of
