BE IT ORDAINED 13Y THE CITY OF BEAUMON` ,, TEXAS: That that portion of 23r.d Street lying within the right of way ac- quired for Interstate Highway 10, and being a portion of that 60- foot wide strip of land dedicated to the public as a free and unob- structed thoroughfare for the use of t:he pAtbl.ic by W. P+io Lrook by dedication deed daltid March 1, 1925 and reuoided in Vol. 252, page 444 of the Deed Re cords of ; efferson County, Texas, and containing 3.203 acres of land, more or less, be, and the same is hereby, vacated and clo6ed, sUbject to' the right and �.rivilege of The City of Beaumont and other utility companies to use and maintain the ex- isting uti lities, if any, above an'd l•eneath the surface of said street, and that the title to s).ich vacated and abandoned street shall revert to and become the property of the parties entitled thereto, as provided by law. 1958. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS That that portion of 23rd Street lying within the right of way ac- quired for Interstate Highway 101 and being a portion of that 60- foot wide strip of land dedicated to the public as a free and unob- structed thoroughfare for the use of the public by `.. Crook by dedication deed dated Parch 1, 1925 and recorded in Vol. 252,.page 444 of the Deed Records of Jefferson Cou-nty, Texas, and containing more or less, be and the same is hereby. 3.203 acres of land, vacated and- clo.sed,- subject- to the right and privileae of The City of Beaumont and other utility companies to use and maintain the ex- isting utilities, if any, above and beneath the surface of said street, and that the title to such vacated and abandoned street shall revert to and become the property of the parties entitled thereto, as provided by law. 1958.
