AUTHORIZING THE VACATING AND ABANDONING
b AN ALLEY RUNNING IN A NORTHERLY AVID SOUTHERLY
DIRECTION IN THE _ELVINA ADDITION, TO THE CITY OF
BEAUb20NT BORDERED ON THE WEST BY LOT FOURTEEN
(14) -AND ON THE EAST -BY LOTS FIFTEEN (15), SIXTEEN
(16), SEVENTEEN (17), AND EIGHTEEN (18) OF -SAID
ELV INA ADD I^1 ION AND 1 R OV ID TRIG FOR REVERSION OF
• TITLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH LAW.
WHEREAS, a petition signed by the property owners of
all lots in the Elvina Addition to the City of Beatunont abutting
that certain alley in the said Elvina Addition running in a
Northerly and Southerly direction and bordered on the Wast by Lot
Fourteen (14) and on the East by Lots Fifteen (15), Sixteen (16),
Seventeen (17), and Eighteen (18) of said Elvina Addition has been
presented
to
the City-Comraission
of the City
of Beaumont requesting
that the
said
alley be
vacated and abandoned;
and f
SEAS, said petition has been referred to the City
Planning and Zoning Comraission for exam.i.r_ation and approval and
the same has been approved by the said Commission.; and
WHEREAS, the said petition has been duly canvassed and
examined by the City Commission and has been found to have been
signed by all the said property owners, and it appearing to the City
Commission that the request of said property owners should be granted
and that an ordinance should be enacted vacating and abandoning said
alley.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TIE CITY C OIti aSSION
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONTs
That the alley running in a Northerly and Southerly
direction in the Elvina Addition to the City of Beaumont bordered on
the West by Lot Fourteen (14) and on the East by Lots Fifteen_ (15),
Sixteen (16), Sever -teen (17), and Eighteen (18) of said Elvina'Addi-
tion, be and the same is hereby authorized to be vacated and abandoned
and that the title to said alley shall revert to and become the
property of the ovmers of land bordering on said alley as provided
by lacca
PASSED by the City Commission' this Z_�Z� day of
A. D. 1946.
