HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 21-RA. t � 1 AN ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING OFFER OF PHILLIP BROUSSARD TO PUR- CHASE CERTAIN PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING PROPER CITY OFFICERS TO EXECUTE AND LELIVER (QUITCLAIM DEED TO PURCHASER OF SAME. PREAMBLE . - r Whereas, on the 17th day of November A.D., 1936, the City of Beaumont recovered a tax judgment against Phillip Broussard in thesum of One Hundred and 26/100 (;p100.26) Dollars, together with interest from the date of said judgment and costs and -the foreclo- sure of a tax lien upon the following described property, to -wit: Lot Seven (7) in Block "B", of the Pennock and Potts :addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, as per map or plat of said Addition of record in the office of the County Clerk, Jefferson County, Texas; and, Whereas, on the 2nd day of February A.D., 1937, the City? of Beaumont purchased said above described property at public auc- tion in satisfaction of said judgment and tax lien for the sum of One Hundred Sixteen and 27/100 ($116.27) Dollars; and, Whereas, on the 11th day of March A.D., 1937, W. W.
