ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING
$150,000 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
AN AIRPORT TERMINAL BUILDING;
APPOINTING AN ARCHITECT FOR THE
PROJECT; AND PROVIDING FOR SEVER-
ABILITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1.
That the construction of an airport terminal building
for Beaumont Municipal Airport is hereby established as a
project, and the sum of $150,000, including $130,000 from the
Airport Improvement Fund and $20,000 from Unappropriated Gen-
eral Revenue Sharing Funds, is hereby appropriated for the
construction of said project.
Section 2.
That the architectural firm of Livesay and Livesay
is hereby appointed architect for the project, and the City
Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement for archi-
tectural services for the project.
Section 3.
That if any section,:subsection, sentence, clause or
phrase of this ordinance,. or the application.of same to a
particular set of persons or circumstances, should for any
reason be held to be invalid, such invalidity shall in no way
affect the remaining portions of this ordinance, and to such
end the various portions and provisions of this ordinance
are declared to be severable.
