AND APPROPRIATING $100,000 FROM BUDGET
ACCOUNT NO. 041-507 TO THE STREET CON-
STRUCTION FUND PROJECT. NO. 71-78-3611
MANION DRIVE PARTICIPATION PAVING PROJECT
AND AUTHORIZING THE FXECUTION OF A CONTRACT
IN THE AMOUNT OF $161,186.38 WITH CAJUN
CONCRETE WORKS, INC. FOR THE PAVING OF
MANION DRIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:

THAT the budget of the City of Beaumont for the fiscal period ccmuencing
October 1, 1977, and ending September 30, 1978, be, and the same is
hereby, amended by allocating and appropriating $100,000 from budget
account No. 041-507 to the Street Canstruction Fund Project No. 71-78-361,
Manion Drive Participation Paving Project.

That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute,a contract with Cajun Concrete Works, Inc. in the amount of
$161,186.38 for the paving of Manion Drive, as the lowest and best of
bids received.
