ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET
OF THE CITY OF BEAUNY)NT FOR TEE FISCAL
PERIOD CON VENCING OCTOBER 1, 1977, AND
ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1978, BY TRANSFERRING.
$8,200 FROM THE GE10RAL FUND CONTINGENCY
ACCOUNT TO GENERAL FUND ACCOUNT NO. 34-
309; AND AUTHORIZING TEE ADVERTISEMENT OF
BIDS FOR REPLACING A GASOLINE ENGINE ON
SNORKLE 1 WITH A NEW 671 DETROIT DIESEL
ENGINE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:

THAT the budget of the City of Beaumont for the fiscal period commencing
October 1, 1977, and ending September 30, 1978, be, and the -same is
hereby, amended by transferring $8,200 from the General Fund Contingency
Account to General Fund Account 34-309, said transfer is necessary to
fund repairs to the Snorkle 1 firetruck, said item of expenditure is
unforeseen and is an established emergency.

THAT the appropriate City official is hereby authorized to advertise
for bids for replacing a gasoline engine.on Snorkle 1 with.a new 671
Detroil Diesel engine.
