ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 9B
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES PROVIDING FOR
CHANGING THE NAME "ARENA AT FAIR PARK" TO
"FAIR PARK COLISEUM"; AMENDING THE RENTAL
RATES AFTER NIIDNIGHT; REGULATING PARKING
AT FAIR PARK; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY
AND PROVIDING FOR REPEAL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1.
THAT Chapter 9B, Section 9B -2(c) of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Beaumont, be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing
the name of the "Arena at Fair Park" to "Fair Park Coliseum" and
substituting the word "coliseum" for the word "arena" where it ap-
pears in Section 9B -2(c).
Section 2.
That Chapter 9B, Section 9B-10 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Beaumont be, and the same is hereby, amended by sub-
stituting the word "coliseum" for the word "arena" where it appears
in Section 9B-10.

That Chapter 9B, Section 9B-5 of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Beaumont be, and the same is hereby, amended to read as
follows:
Section 9B-5 - When any of the facilities of the Civic Center
Complex are used after midnight, the user shall
pay the following hourly rates plus all neces-
sary staffing:
Civic Center $150 per hour
Fair Park Coliseum $ 75 per hour
Municipal Auditorium $ 75 per hour
Harvest Club $ 35 per hour
YMBL Building $ 15 per hour
Section 4.
That Chapter 9B of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Beaumont be, and the same is hereby amended by adding a new Section
9B-16 to read as follows:
Section 9B-16- The rate for parking in the three fenced
parking lots adjacent to the Fair Park
Coliseum for events in the facility shall
be $1.00 per vehicle. The City will not
charge for parking for non-carmercial
events in any Fair Park facility unless
requested by the sponsor of the non-can-
mercial event.
Section 5.
That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase
of this ordinance, or the application of aame to a particular set of
persons or circumstances, should for any reason be held to be invalid,
such invalidity shall in no wise affect the remaining portions of this
ordinance, and to such end the various portions and provisions of this
ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 6.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
