AN ORDINANCE.
Amending Article 830 of the -Revised Code
of Ordinances of the City of Beaumont as codified
by .McDowell & Davidson and adopted by the City Council
of Beaumont,:February 7th; 1911, providing'a.penalty
for the violation thereof and declaring an emergency.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUIvIONT :
SECTION I.
That Article 830...of the Revi sed -C-ode of
Ordinances as --codified by McDowell & Davidson, and
adopted by the City Council of the City ofBeaamont,.
February 7th, 1911, be amended so that said article shall
hereafter read as follovrs, to --wit:
"ARTICLE 830: SHALL NOT STOP OR OBSTRUCT CROSSINGS:
No vehicle shall stop or remain standing on
any street -at any street crossing in such manner,as to
obstruct free passage over such crossing,;, nor shall
any vehicle turn around on Pearl Street between College
Street and Bvoadway."

Any person violating any of the pr ovis ions 'of this
ordinance shall be 'd.eemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon

conviction therefor in the Corporation Court of the-C,ity of

,_,F: Beaumont shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200.00

R0 WHEREAS, the fact that at the present time a great

of the rule requiring ordinances to be read at three regular
mee.&Ings. Said rule is _therefore hereby suspended , and this
ordinance shall go into full force and effect .from and
after it's lawful passage and publication.

an imperative public -emergency, necessitating the suspension
of the rule requiring ordinances to be read at three regular
mee.&Ings. Said rule is _therefore hereby suspended , and this
ordinance shall go into full force and effect .from and
after it's lawful passage and publication.
