ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE,
NO. 78-20 BY INCLUDING THE VACATING AND
ABANDONMENT OF A FIFTEEN FOOT (151) GENERAL
UTILITY EA.SEIvlEN`r IN THE W. W. CHAISON AD-
DITION, BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS,
AS DESCRIBED HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT that certain fifteen foot (15') alley described as follows;
Being a fifteen foot (15') by
four hundred twenty-six,:foot
(426') alley running: A:,; Worth/
south direction, and located in
Block 12B of the W. W. Chaison
Addition, said alley being bor-
dered on the east by Lots 1-8,
Block 12B, W. W. Chaison Addition,
on the west by Lots 9-16, Block
12B, W. W. Chaison Addition, on
the north by the south right-of-
way line by Lavaca Street and on
the south by the north right-of-
way line of Irby Street,
be, and the same is hereby, vacated and abandoned, and that title to
such property shall revert to and become the property of the pe_r_sons
entitled thereto,.as provided by law; providing further that hereinabove -
described tract of land is expressly abandoned by the City of Beaumont
as a general utility easement and that title to such property shall
revert to and become the property of the persons entitled thereto,as.
provided by law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
