ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE APPROVING TBE PRELIYr-
RKARY OFFICIAL STATEMENTS OF THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT, DATED MARCH 2, 1978, RELATING TO
$7,740,000 PERMANENT IMPROVEMENT BONDS,
SERIES 1978, AND $1,000,000 T, TERWORKS
SYSTEM REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 1978-A; AUTH-
ORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CERTIFICATE
RELATING THERETO; • AND RATIFYING ALL AGNS
OF CITY OFFICERS AND AGENTS RELATING TO TIE
PUBLICATION AND DISTRIBUTION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1.
THAT the Preliminary Official Statements of the City of
Beaumont, dated March 2, 1978, relating to $7,740,000 Permanent
Improvement Bonds, Series 1978, and $1,000,000 Waterworks System
Revenue Bonds, Series 1978-A, copies of which are attached hereto
as Exhibit "A", are approved.
Section 2.
THAT the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a certificate relating thereto, a copy of which is attached
hereto as Exhibit "B".
Section 3.
THAT all actions of City officers and agents heretofore
taken in connection with the publication and distribution of said
Preliminary Official Statements are hereby approved.and ratified.
