EN'I'I'T'7' Fly AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE
EXECUTION OF RELEASES OF LIENS, CLAIMS
OR JUDGlED]TS BY THE CITY MANAGER, PRO-
VIDING STANDARDS FOR SAID EXECUTION;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT AND PROVIDING
FOR SEVERABILITY.
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to provide for the
execution by the City Manager of the City of Beaumont of all releases
of liens, claims or judgments when and if the total amount due the
City of Beaumont has been paid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT OFMINED BY THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1.
THAT the City Manager of the City of Beaumont be, and he is hereby,
authorized to execute on behalf of the City of Beaumont all necessary
releases of liens, claims or judgments when and if all amounts due
the City as a result of said lien, claim or judgment, including all
interest, penalty and costs are paid in full to the City.

All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.

That if any section, subsection, sentence,. clause or phrase
of this ordinance, or the application of same to a particular set of
persons or circumstances, should for any reason be held to be invalid,
such invalidity shall in no wise affect the remaining portions of this
ordinance, and to such end the various portions and provisions of this
ordinance are declared to be severable.
