ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT FOR THE FISCAL
PERIOD COM1111ENCING OCTOBER 1, 1977, AND
ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1978, BY APPROPRIATING
AND ALLOCATING $54,000 INTO EPA GRANT FUNDS
TO THE WASTE WATER TREAT = STUDY PROJECT;
AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE ANEIDNBNT_
TO THE WASTE WATER TREATMENT STUDY GRANT,
EPA GRANT NO. C-48-1254-01-1; PROVIDING
FOR SEVERABILITY AND PROVIDING FOR REPEAL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUAW :
Section 1.
THAT the budget of the City of Beaumont for the fiscal period commencing
October 1, 1977 and ending September 30, 1978, be, and the same is
hereby, amended by appropriating and allocating the amount of $54,000
in EPA Grant Funds for engineering and survey costs associated with the
Waste Water Treatment Study.
Section 2.
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute any
instruments necessary for the acceptance of the amendment to the
Waste Water Treatment Study Grant, EPA Grant No..0-48-1254-01-1 in the
amount of $54,000 for engineering and survey costs.
Section 3.
That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase
of this ordinance, or the application of same to a particular set of
persons or circumstances, should for any reason be held to be invalid,
such invalidity shall in no wise affect the remaining portions of this
ordinance, and to such end the various portions and provisions of this
ordinance are declared to be severable.

All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
