Amdnding Article #826 of the Revised Code of
Ordinances adopted by the City Council April 9th, 1915, and
recorded on' page 320, Vol.. %,..Minutes of Ordinances of the City
of Beaumont, by adding thereto Section "A", providing a penalty
for the violation thereof, and declaring an emergency.

Section I. That: Article #826 of the Revised Code of Ordinances
of the City of Beaumont as� amended by an ordinance adopted April
6th, 19151 and recorded on page #320 Vol,. 3, Minutes of Ordinances

of the City of Beaumont, Texas, be and the same is hereby amended
by having the following section known as Sect ion►'826A" added
thereto, as follows -to -wit;
Section #826 A.
It shall be unlawful for any person in char ge of amy
vehicle or domestic animal used for hire, to" allow said vehicle
or animal to remain standing on Crockett Street, between Orleans
and Pearl Streets, in the City of Beaumont, Texas.
SECTION II.. Any person who violates the prdvisions of this ordinance
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon a conviction thereof
in the Cbrporat ion Court, shall be fined in any sum not less than
Five ( $5.00) Dollars, nor more than One Hundred ($1001.00) Dollars ..
SECTION III. The fact that the present traffic ordinances permit
vehicles'usedfor hire to stop on Crockett Street between Orleans
and Pearl Streets, and that ' such use of said street by vehicles
for hire has created" a con je.'t ion � of traffic and an imperative
necessity and emergency exists, necessitating the adoption of this

ordinance under the suspension of the rule requiring ordinances
hereby
to be read at .three separate meetings* lAr- is.therefore
suspended and this, ordinance shall be in full .force and effect from
and after its lawful passage and publicati on.
