Section 1. That Article 404 aif the revised. Code of Ordinances
of the City of Beaumo-ut,Texas, as _codified by McDowell w Davidson,
and adopted by the City Council Februazy 7th,1911, be anc- the sLr;l�
is hereby amend -ed so as to hea-aafter read as follows, t0 -wit --
"ARTICLE 404:All the tejrr itory within the corporate limits
of the City which Sna1l border on the line within three hundred
feet of any main or lateral sewer now constructed and owned or
that jnq-•;r hereafter be constructe d, owned or taken over by the City
of Beaumont shall constitute the Sewer Di -strict of this City, and
all pxoperty owners,ownirqg property within such territory which
is within three ha, --axed feet of a public water main or water
supply, measured from the property lire of such owner to such
water main or water supply, shall be required to cormect all
water closets, urinal: , slop-si�'�s tend sin'_r basins with sucl�
mein or lateral sP ner and v{; i h the wq.ter main or water mi ly,
as Pav be withil� ;�t?c11 r?;s+ante of their yroperty, as required_ by
the ordinances of the City Of Beaumont".
