BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL 'OF TEE CITY OF BEAUMONT :
Section 1.:
That . the tax of fifty-two (52) cents on, each , one
hundred (100.00) dollars valuation of all taxable property
.within the limits of the City of Beaumont as, levied and ordered
to be collected by an ordinance passed. by the City C.ounci 1
of. the City..of,.Beaumont; Texas, on,'the lst day of June, A.D.

Section 2.
That the City Tax Agsessor and Collector is hereby
instructed to pro rate the said. sum of fifty two ( .52) cents
according to the provisions of' this ordinance and to so pre --
pare his statement a-Wdreports to the City Treasurer that
said. off icer may be able to place all collections made under
said' tax to the credit,-, of the proper fund, and. the same shall
not be diverted or used. for any other purpose.

That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall take .effect and be in force from and after i-ts 'final
passage, approval by the Mayor, and lawful publication.
