ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 41A
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
BEAUMONT, SECTION 41A -7(g) TO AMEND THE
REQUIRED LOCATION OF WINCH OPERATING CON-
TROLS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND PRO
VIDING FOR REPEAL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Chapter 41A, Section 41A -7(g) of the Code'of Ordinances
of the City of Beaumont be, and the same is hereby, amended to read as
follows:
Section 41A -7(g) Winch and boon. Such winch being a power
operated winch line and boom with a factory
rated lifting capacity (or a tested capacity)
of not less than five thousand (5,000) pounds,
single line capacity and aboom not less than
five (5) feet in length; winch operating con-
trols must be operable from either side of
the truck or from inside the cab.

That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase
of this ordinance, or the application of same to a particular set of
persons or circumstances, should for any reason be held to be invalid,
such invalidity shall in no wise affect the remaining portions of this
ordinance, and to such end the various portions and provisions of this
ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 3.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
