An Ordinance.
Ammending section 14 of an ordinance adopted by the
City Council on the 4th of June, 1912, entitled an
Ordinance Providing for a Department of Garbage etc.,

Minutes of Ordinances.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City
of Beaumont that section 14 -of an ordinance creating
a Garbage Dejartment and providing for the office
of superintendent of the Garbage Department etc. as
it- appears on page -194 -.-in book -three of the Minutes
of Ordinaaces of the City of Beaumont, be ammended
so that it shall hereafter read as follows: -t6 -wit: -
Section 14. The fees for the removal of trash by
the Garbage Department shall be as follows: -
For the first barrel:.......:.......fifteen cents
For each additional barrelr-or any fractional party
thereof, ten cents, provided that where there is
less .than one half bazrel in addition to the full
bar. -ell, the charge shall only be five.cents for
said part of barrel provided that any person, firm
or corporation may enter into a'contract with the
superintendent of the Garba-e department for the -re-
moval of slops,&trash or either from the premises
owned or occupied by them at stated tunes, and on
such ,terms as .the parties map agree upon, provided
that said aontract shall first be submitted to the
Finance Committee for' its approval; and .said contract
shall not provide for fees greater than those stipu-
lated -in this section
