SECTION 37-58.1 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
TO ADD A SCHOOL ZONE ON A PORTION OF EAST
CALDWOOD DRIVE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY,
PROVIDING FOR REPEAL AND PROVIDING FOR A
PENALTY.

THAT Chapter 37, Section 37-58.1 of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Beaumont, be, and the same is hereby, amended by adding
a new school zone in which the prima facie speed limit shall be 20
miles per hour between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 8:45 a.m., and
2:00 p.m. and 3:45 p.m., Monday through Friday on school days, said
school zone to read as follows:
East Caldwood Drive N and S From a point 170 feet
north of North Caldwood
Drive to a point 145
feet south of North
Caldwood Drive.
Section 2.
That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase
of this ordinance, or the application of same to a particular set of
persons or circumstances, should for any reason be held to be invalid,
such invalidity shall in no wise affect the remaining portions of this
ordinance, and to such end the various portions and provisions of this
ordinance are declared to be severable.

All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.

Any person who violates any provision of this ordinance shall,
upon conviction, be punished as provided in Section 1-8 of the Code of
Ordinances of Beaumont, Texas.
