ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT FOR THE FISCAL
PERIOD BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1976, AND
ENDING SEP'T'EMBER 30, 1977, BY APPROPRIATING
$15,000 FROM UNAPPROPRIATED FUNDS TO ACCOUNT
NO. 79-415; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH HASKINS & SELLS
TO REVIEW THE FINANCIAL PROCEDURES OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT FOR
SUCH REVIEW NOT TO EXCEED $15,000.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:

That the budget of the City of Beaumont for the fiscal
period beginning October 1, 1976, and ending September 30, 1977, be,
and the same is hereby, amended by appropriating $15,000 from unap-
propriated funds to Account No. 79-415 to fund a review of the financial
procedures of the City of Beaumont.

That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute an agreement with Haskins & Sells, Certified Public Accountants,
to conduct a review of the financial procedures of the City of Beaumont.
That the appropriate City Official is hereby authorized to
pay to Haskins & Sells a sum not to exceed $15,000 in accordance with
the agreement between the City of Beaumont and Haskins & Sells for the
review of the financial procedures of the City of Beaumont.
