ORDINANCE NO.
ENTIMED AN ORDINANCE MENDING CHAPTER 12,
SECTION 12-35 ADOPTING A CLASSIFICATION AND
PAY PLAN; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; PRO-
VIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND PROVIDING FOR
REPEAL.
BE IT ORD-TNED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:

That Chapter 12, Section 12-35 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Beaumont be, and the same is hereby, amended to read as follows:
Section 12-35 - The Compensation Plan and salary grades for all
classes or positions in the City of Beaumont as on file
in the office of the City Clerk on June 21, 1977, be,
and the same is hereby, adopted.
Section 2.
The Coirpensation Plan and salary grades herein adopted shall be
effective from and after June 27, 1977.
That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this
ordinance, or the application of same to a particular set of persons or
circumstances should for any reason be held to be invalid, such invalidity
shall in no wise affect the remaining portions of this ordinance and to
such end the various portions and provisions of this ordinance are de-
clared to be severable.

All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
