ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT FOR THE FISCAL
PERIOD COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 1976, AND
ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1977, BY TRANSFERRING
FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,946.00.FROM THE
ORAL FUND CONTINGENCY ACCOUNT TO THE
FLEET ACCOUNT NO. 98-503 TO PURCHASE A
TANDEM FRONT LOADER TRUCK AND PROVIDING
FOR THE AWARD OF BIDS FORA FRONT LOADER
PACKER BODY WITH CAB AND CHASSIS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONI':
Section 1.
That the budget of the City of Beaumont for the fiscal period
commencing October 1, 1976, and.ending September 30, 1977, be and the
same is hereby amended by transferring the stun of Three Thousand Nine
Hundred Forty -Six and No/100 ($3,946.00) Dollars from the General Fund
Contingency Account to the Fleet Account No. 98-503. Said transfer
from the General Fund Contingency Account is an unforeseen expenditure
and constitutes an established emergency of the City of Beaumont.

That the bid of Pak -Mor Manufacturing Company for a front loader
packer body for the Solid Waste Department in the amount of Eleven
Thousand Eight Hundred and No/100 ($11,800.00) Dollars, and the bid of
Tideland International, Inc. for the cab and chassis in the amount of
Twenty --Four Thousand Nine Hundred Forty -Four and No/100 ($24,944.00)
Dollars be, and the same are hereby, accepted and the appropriate City
official is hereby authorized to make payment for said front loader packer
body with cab and chassis upon acceptable delivery.
