ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMCNT FOR THE FISCAL
PERIOD COMENCING OCTOBER 1, 1976, AND ENDING
SEPTEMBER 30, 1977, BY TRANSFERRING FUNDS IN
THE AMOUNT OF $3,264.00 FROM THE GENERAL FUND
CONTINGENCY ACCOUNT TO THE FLEET FUND ACCOUNT
NO. 98-503 FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO BOBTAIL
TRASH DUMP TRUCKS AND PROVIDING FOR THE A0M
OF BIDS FOR SAID BOBTAIL TRASH DUMP TRUCKS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1.
That the budget of the City of Beaumont for the fiscal period
commencing October 1, 1976, and ending September 30, 1977, be and: -the
same is hereby amended by transferring the sum of Three Thousand Two
Hundred Sixty -Four and No/100 ($3,264.00) Dollars from the General Fund
Contingency Account to the Fleet Account No. 98-503. Said transfer
from the General Fund Contingency Account is an unforeseen expenditure
and constitutes an established emergency of the City of Beaumont.
Section 2.
That the bid of Dixie Truck Center in the amount of Thirty
Thousand Two Hundred Sixty -Four and No/100 ($30,264.00) Dollars for
two (2) bobtail trash dump trucks for the Street Department be, and
the same is hereby accepted and the appropriate City official is
hereby authorized to make payment for said bobtail trash dump trucks
upon acceptable delivery.
