ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FISCAL
BUDGET OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT FOR THE
PERIOD COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 1976, AND
ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1977, BY TRANSFERRING
$1,000.00 FROM ACCOUNT 79-420 TO ACCOUNT
71-415 AND PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT TO
DR. PAUL.N. FORTNEY OF $1,000.00 FOR SER-
VICES RENDERED AS ACTING HEALTH OFFICER
FOR A TEN -WEEK PERIOD.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the fiscal budget of the City of Beaumont for the period.
commencing October 1, 1976, and ending September 30, 1977, be, and the same
is hereby, amended by transferring* $1,000.00 from Account'. 79-42,Q, the
Contingency Account, to Account 71-415, the Special Services of the Health
Department, to pay Dr. Paul N. Fortney for acting as Health Officer for a
ten (10) week period. This is an unforeseen item of expenditure and is an
established emergency of the City of Beaumont. The appropriate City official
is also authorized to pay Dr. Paul N. Fortney the stun of $1,000.00 for ser-
vices rendered as acting Health Officer for said ten (10) week period.
