ENTIW AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 32,
SECTION 32-9(2) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS, TO INCREASE
THE MINIlv1UM CHARGE OUTSIDE THE CITY LIMITS
FROM $2.00 TO $3.00;. PROVIDING FOR SEVER-
ABILITY AND PROVIDING FOR REPEAL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
That Chapter 32, Section 32-9(2) of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Beaumont, Texas, be and the same is hereby amended to read
as follows:
Section 32-9(2)
Sewer service to customers outside the city
limits shall be rendered at the following
rages: same as outside the city limits plus
25% each month. When service is on, the
minimum charge of $3.00 per month shall be
made.
Section 2.
That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of
this ordinance, or the application of same to a particular set of
persons or circumstances, should for any reason be held to be invalid,
such invalidity shall in no wise affect the remaining portions of this
ordinance, and to such end the various portions and provisions of this
ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 3.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
