ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A
PORTION OF CROW 1DAD RIGIT-OF41Y LOCATED IN THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DE-
SCRIBED HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED -BY.THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT that certain portion of Crow Road right-of-way located generally at the
intersection of the northern terminus of Crow Road and Highways 69, 96 and 287,
described as follows:
BEING a .0178 acre tract of land out of those cer-
tain tracts of land in the F. Bigner Survey conveyed
as Tracts No. 1 and No. 2 by the Texas National Bank
to Phillip B. Greenberg by deed dated February 19,
1940, and recorded in Volume 474, Page 618 of the
Deed Records of Jefferson County, Texas, and said
0.0178 acre tract being more particularly described
by metes and bounds as follows:
FOR locative point begin at a Texas Highway Department
concrete monument in the West right-of-way line of
Crow Road and in the Northeast right-of-way of U. S.
Highway Nos. 69, 96 & 287, said concrete monument lo-
cates the Southmost corner of the Greenberg Tract;
THENCE North 1 degree 01 minutes 22 seconds East with
the West right-of-way line of the proposed Crow Road
96.28 feet to a concrete monunent locating the begin-
ning point of a nontangent curve to the right whose
tangent bears North 1 degree 17 minutes 30 seconds
East, whose central angle is 22 degrees 22 minutes 17
seconds and whose radius is 664.36 feet;
THENCE in a Northeasterly direction with the arc of
said curve an arc distance of 259.40 feet to an iron
stake for corner in the West line of an existing 40
foot wide road right-of-way, being the place of be-
ginning;
THENCE continuing in a Northeasterly direction with
the arc of said curve an arc distance of 86.1 feet to
a point for corner, being the intersedi.on of the cen=
terline of the abandoned T & NO R.R. R.O.W. with the
proposed West R.O.W. line of Crow Road;
THENCE South 491 0-61 40" W a distance of 50 feet to a
point for corner, said point being in the -southerly
R.O.W., of the abandoned T & NO R.R. R.O.W., and being
19.54 feet measured northwesterly along said southerly
R.O.W. from the intersection of said southerly R.O.W.
with the proposed West R.O.W. of Crow Road;
THENCE South 11 171 30" West a distance of 44.26 feet
to the place of beginning;
Containing 0.0178 acres (0.0066 abandoned and 0.0112
Reversionary), more or less;
be, and the same is hereby, vacated and abandoned', and that title to such pro-

perty of the persons entitled thereto, as provided by law; and The City of
Beaumont hereby relinquishes any and all rights, title and interest it had
or may have in and to such easement.
