ENTITLED AN ORDR,1ANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET OF THE CITY
OF BEAUMONT FOR THE FISCAL PERIOD COMMENCING OCTOBER
1,.1975, AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30,-1976, BY TRANSFERRING
$3,245.94 FROM THE GENERAL FUND CONTINGENCY ACCOUNT To
THE STREET DIVISION ACCOUNT NO. 042-507 FOR THE PAY-
MENT FOR PIPE LINE ADJUSTMENTS AS PART OF THE LOOP 251
PROJECT.; AUTHORIZING PA)MU OF THE ADJUSTMENTS AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPLY FOR REIMBURSELVIENT.
W1 REAS, it is necessary and in the interest of the health, welfare
and safety of the citizens of the City of Beaumont to relocate and adjust
certain pipe lines in the Loop 251 (Northwest U.S. Highways 69, 96 & 287)
Project; and,
WHEREAS, this expenditure is an unforeseen item of expenditure and
is an established :emergency of the City of Beaumont.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the budget of the City of Beaumont for the fiscal period commencing
October 1, 1975, and ending September 30, 1976, be, and the same is hereby
amended by transferring $3,245.9.4 from the General Fund Contingency Ac-
count to the Street Division Account No. 042-507 for the payment of pipe
line adjustments as part of the Loop 251 Project as described hereinabove.
THAT the appropriate City official be, and he is hereby, authorized to
pay to Mobil Pipeline Company in the amount of $3,245.94 for necessary
adjustments to various pipe lines in:.the Loop 251 (Northwest U.S. Highways
69, 96 & 287) Project as heretofore authorized by the City Council on'
March 19, 1968.
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to sign .necessary
certifications from the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation
for available reimbursement.
