ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT FOR -THE FISCAL PERIOD BEGINNING
OCTOBER 1, 1975, AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1976,
BY TRANSFERRING THE SUM OF $193,.034.15 FROM THE
GENERAL ACCOUNT TO AIRPORT CONSTRUCTION FUND NO.
70-76-011 FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO THE BEAUMONT MUNI-
CIPAL AIRPORT.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended that the budget of
the City of Beaumont be amended for the fiscal period beginning October
1, 1975, and ending September 30, 1976, by transferring the sum of
$193,034.15 from the General Account to Airport Construction Fund No.
70-76-011 for improvements to the Beaumont Municipal Airport; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council finds the necessity for the transfer
from the General Account constitutes a condition which is appropriate and
good accounting procedure to consolidate these funds in.a construction
fund so that they do not complicate the annual closing of the books;
NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:

THAT the budget of the City of Beaumont for the fiscal period beginning
October 1, 1975, and ending September 30, 1976, be and the same is hereby
amended by transferring the sum of $193,034.15 fr(xn the General Account
to Airport Construction Fund No. 70-76-011 for improvements to the Beaumont
Municipal Airport. .
