ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABAN-
DONING A PORTION OF MATAGORDA STREET L0-
CATED BETWEEN W. LAVACA AND IRBY STREETS
IN THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, JEFFERSON COUNTY,
TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED HEREIN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT that certain portion of Matagorda Street described as follows:
Located and lying between the North right-
of-way line of Irby Street and the'South
right-of-way line of W. Lavaca Street and
bounded on the East by Lots 9-16 of Block
12B of the W. W. Chaison Addition and on
the West by Lots 1-8, Block 12C of the W.
W. Chaison Addition in The City of Beau-
mont, Jefferson County, Texas;
be, and the same is hereby, vacated and abandoned, and that title
to such property shall revert to and become the property of the
persons entitled thereto, as provided by law; and The City of Beau-
mont hereby relinquishes any and all rights, title and interest it
had or may have in and to such property.
