ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT FOR THE FISCAL PERIOD BEGINNING
OCTOBER 1, 1975, AND ENDING SEPTIIABER 30, 1976,
BY APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $629,000.00 FROM
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FIRST-YEAR
FUNDS FOR VARIOUS PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended the appropriation of
$629,000.00 from Ccmmmnity Development Block Grant first-year funds
to seven accounts; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to authorize the City Manager
to make said appropriation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the budget of the City of Beaumont, for the fiscal period beginning
October 1, 1975, and ending September 30, 1976, be, and the same is hereby
amended, by appropriating $629,000.00 frcan Community Development Block
Grant first-year funds to the following line items:
1. Public Works - $400,000.00
2. Code Enforcement - $15,000.00
3. Demolition - $20,000.00
4. Relocation Payments - $60,000.00
5. Planning and Management Development -.$62,000.00
6. Administrative - $50,000.00
7. Contingency —$22,000.00
