ORDINANCE NO.
ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE
DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY FACILITIES; PRO-
VIDING FOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
PROVIDING FOR THE EXECUTION OF RENTAL
DOCUMENTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND
PROVIDING FOR REPEAL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:

That Chapter 12 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Beaumont be, and the same.is.hereby amended by adding anew Section.12-16,
said section to read as follows:
Section 12-16 -. Department of Community Facilities
There is hereby established the Department of
Community Facilities the head of which shall.be the
director of Community Facilities. The Department of
Community Facilities shall be responsible for the
supervision and management of the Civic Center Complex,
which includes the Municipal Auditorium, Harvest Club,
YMBL Hall, Arena at Fair ParkandCivic Centers The
department shall perform such other duties as may be
delegated to it from time to time by the City. Manager.

That if any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of
this ordinance, or the application of same 'to a particular set of persons
or circumstances, should for.any reason be held to be invalid, such invalidity
shall in no wise affect the -remaining portions of this ordinance, and to such
end the various portions and provisions of this ordinance are declared to be
severable.

All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
