ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $22,000.00
FROM THE GENERAL FUND; PROVIDING FOR REIMBURSE-
14MT TO THE GENERAL FUND FROM SECTION 112 FUNDS
PROVIDED THROUGH THE FEDERAL -AID HIGHWAY ACT OF
1973; ESTABLISHING A PLANNER POSITION IN THE
BUDGET FOR THE TRAFFIC AND TRANSPORTATION DE-
PARTMENT; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
CONTRACT FOR SAID BONDS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY. THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
Section 1.
That there be, and is hereby appropriated, from the General Fund
of the budget of the City of Beaumont for fiscal year 1976, the sum of
$22,000.00; said sum to be reimbursed to the General Fund from grant funds
provided under Section 112 of the Federal -Aid Highway Act of 1973.
There is hereby established in the Traffic and Transportation
Department a position of Planner.

The City Manager be, and he is hereby; authorized to enter into a
contract with the Southeast Texas Regional Planning Commission for re-
ceipt of Section 112 funds provided through the Federal -Aid Highway Act
of 1973 to the City of Beaumont.
